She Who Believes

Updated: 2 days ago

"Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill his promises to her." Luke 1:45

Sister, there is profound blessing

in believing without seeing.

Blessing that supernaturally

transpires from the deliberate

rejection of natural doubting.

Blessing that comes from

knowing The Mighty One

has spoken; therefore, faith

will be made sight.

Blessing that takes rattling

shape from bones lain dead—

dry, dormant, and deemed

lifeless.

Blessing that emerges from

grave impossibility, and

nothingness, even the decay

of a mocking tomb.

Blessing that melodiously erupts

from notes long silenced, a

redemptive song, broken free

from an unfettered soul.

Blessing that wondrously rises

from the ashes of delayed

desires, and miraculously

overflows from Heaven's gold

bowls of petitioning prayer.

Yes, there's beautiful blessing

that's painfully birthed from

rightfully believing and

carrying, hoping and longing,

and waiting on the One

who can do no wrong,

and say no wrong.

So, daughter of the faith, keep

holding tightly—squeezing

white-knuckled to the words

clearly spoken in His visitation

with you.

Like aged Elizabeth and young

Mary, and countless saints

through the ages, you will

receive that which His words

have sworn, that which you

choose to see with eyes gazing

upward.

And...

until that coming day of the

promise fulfilled, will be the

richest of blessings of the

promise believed.
